Question

What CRM are you using for a small service business?

DanTheOperatorMarch 20, 2026
Need a simple CRM to track leads and follow-ups for my landscaping company. Nothing fancy — just something so leads don't fall through the cracks. Using a spreadsheet now and it's not cutting it. Budget is under $100/month.

Jobber has a built-in CRM that's surprisingly good for service businesses. If you're already using an FSM tool, check if it has lead tracking before buying a separate CRM.

HubSpot free tier. Seriously. It's free, it does lead tracking, email sequences, and pipeline management. Overkill for a landscaping company but you'll grow into it.
We just use a shared Google Sheet with a follow-up date column and it works fine for our volume. Sometimes the simple answer is the right one.
