Has anyone used Shopify for B2B sales (freight required)?

kind of a long post but has anyone used Shopify for B2B sales (freight required)? About 6 months ago I started a Shopify store for a niche B2B product. The setup was easy enough, but because we need to ship via LTL freight, our sales flow doesn't really fit how Shopify is designed to work. Most Shopify flows look like this: Customer finds product → Customer buys product → Vendor ships product Ours looks more like this: Customer requests a quote → Quote is reviewed and an LTL shipping quote is generated → Back-and-forth emails explaining shipping options (do they have a forklift on-site, or do we need to send a liftgate, etc.) → Customer finally pays → Shipment goes out It's a much more involved process and definitely not how Shopify was meant to be used. We're currently using the Quote Builder plugin to make it work, but it still feels a bit clunky. For context, our product ships on pallets , three units fit per pallet, and customers can order anywhere from 1 to 150 units depending on their project. We've done ~$200K in revenue over the first 6 months. Has anyone found a better alternative for this kind of B2B/freight workflow, or have ideas on how to improve the process within Shopify?

following .... we actually have been debating getting into the b2b LTL ecom space, not sure if that is actually a space or not, but think we could at least create a funnel to our main business line
